I've never caught a Salmon on a fly before. Those flies you have here look like they should do the job. I've only caught Salmon on lures on a spinning rod outfit. Like your blog.
I really like this Carron Shrimp you have posted here.. It has all the hallmarks of a great salmon fly, good colours and nice green tag, should be great in peaty water. Interesting useage of the Jungle cock, I take it it's to do with a fish looking upwards to the underside of the fly as well as from above? Interesting theory, anyway, I'll be trying and tying up a few myself, would like to see how they perform on bigger tubes and wadddies too. Any chance of a breakdown of materials for the uninitiated?
