The last 10 days got underway on the Tay in Perthshire, Scotland. Silver fish are still running the river and the autumn colours are spectacular.

A superb 24 pounds autumn salmon caught on the Upper Scone Benchil beat by John Taylor. Benchil has become a big fish beat this year with the Uppper Scone fishings landing salmon off the beat weighing 28, 25 and 2 at 24 pounds.

Fresh salmon continue to run the river as was seen on the Pitlochrie beat today. Scott Lennon with a fresh run salmon from the famous Pilochrie pool at Stanley.
