Salmon Fishing Scotland Cold Autumn Weather October 2012.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Cold Autumn Weather October 2012.

Another autumn day dawns in Perthshire on the Tay and it is cold one.

This was the scene at 7.15am. there has been another frost and currently the temperature is -2 Celsius. The river conditions look good with steady water heights, yes no visible rise coming from anywhere! The water temperature will be below 50C/10F so maybe sunk line to start with today before it warms up. Pressure is high at 1017 so hopefully everyone will have a good day. Tight lines

Yesterday as the mist came off the river. There will be more blue skies and some unforgettable autumnal scenes in the this lovely area of the world. have a nice day!
