Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Summer Salmon on the Tay August 2009.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Summer Salmon on the Tay August 2009.

There was more suitable conditions today on the Benchil beat of the lower Tay at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland. The river height was down to one foot three.
Firstly Mark Emms hooked a lively fresh salmon fly fishing from the boat in the Long Shot.

The sea liced cock salmon was safely landed. This is Mark and his son Markus with the fresh salmon.

Jimmy Gibson landed this lovely 10 pounds hen salmon from the boat in the Todd holes pool on a toby Salmo which was carefully returned to the river.
