The wet weather continues this August making it feel like late September. There are signs of a few more salmon running the Tay and hopefuuly all the water will encourage more over the rest of the autumn period.

This was Mike with a fresh Grilse from the Horsey pool of the Pitlochrie beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland caught on a Flying C from the bank.

Earlier in the day he hooked a lively salmon in the Wash House pool from the boat on a devon.

The fresh 12 pounds salmon was successfully landed and then returned to the river.
