Spring Salmon caught on the Fly in Kirkie.

This is the Kirkie pool on the Pitlochrie beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland where I was lucky enough to catch a spring salmon fly fishing myself.

The salmon was about 8lbs and it took a small green, yellow and black Temple Dog which I tied myself.

The salmon was covered in sea lice and was returned to the river to fight another day.

Glad to see that you have a penchant for the long tailed lice;
speaking of such, how is the kiped one.
regards to you both.
