Salmon Fishing Scotland April 2008 Spring Fishing on the Tay at Stanley Catch and Release.
Sarney Wedge caps another great day on the Catholes at Stanley.
This is the Back Dam pool on the Catholes beat of the Tay at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland where Sarney was spinning a Devon from the Boat.
Sarney's rod buckles over into a good fresh Tay spring salmon.
A tremendous fight is given by the powerful spring fish.
After a great tussle the prize is finally netted. A cracking 18 pounds fresh springer. The prise was finally released back to the river unharmed which gave the Angler a satisfying thrill to to see it swim away.
