Jim Brown catches and releases spring Salmon from the Woodside on the Catholes.

Jim lands the fresh spring salmon with the aid of Ghillie George Stewart.

The fish is carefully unhooked. The salmon wieghed 10lbs and was caught spinning a devon from the bank in the Woodside pool of the Catholes at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.

Finally the spring salmon is released back to the river. Well done Jim saving another Tay Salmon.

Jim Landed another spring salmon in the afternoon in the boat in the Little head under the Weir on the Catholes.
