Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Salmon Fishing March 2009.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Salmon Fishing March 2009.

Glorious sunshine on Tayside.
The conditions on the river the last few days have been superb but the salmon have been very hard to tempt. Any fish that are running seem to be flying through without a look. Maybe today our luck will change.

This is the Back Dam pool on the Catholes at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland at a perfect height for fly fishing and spinning.

Having just looked at the season so far graphs for the Tay it seems that a downward trend in catches is happening. Is this the case or is it that some proprietors prefer not to report catches resulting in this information being being a wee bit innacurate. What do you know Bob?
