John Ruffles first ever Salmon.
This was a memorable day for John Ruffles when he caught his first ever salmon which was a Tay Springer. The salmon was caught harling down from Stanley Mills on a fly and was carefully released back to the river.


John playing the salmon from the bank. It was not easy for him as it was extremely windy and it was his first salmon.


The salmon was very lively giving John a real tussle before being safely netted.


John with his prize 10 pounds Tay Springer before it was released. well done John.
