Salmon fishing Scotland Spring Salmon Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland March 2009.

Salmon fishing Scotland Spring Salmon Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland March 2009.

There was a rise in water today with all the rain last night and also snow on the hill. (04/03/2009) The river was rising in the morning but settled nicely in the afternoon. We didn't catch anything but George McKinlay had a tremendous day on the Horsey pool below us on the Upper Scone beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland catching 2 fresh run springers from the bank. They weighed 9 and 15 pounds and were both returned to the river.

Fishing from the boat at the tail of Erics on the Catholes beat.

Peter Thomas and David Boothroyd spinning from the boat in the Back Dam.

Girls in the boat. What is all the fuss about this salmon fishing lark.
