Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Spring Salmon February 2014.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Spring Salmon February 2014.

The Tay in Perthshire, Scotland continued its good week with more spring salmon landed throughout the river. The lower river cleared after rain caused the Isla to make it dirty yesterday and the catches continued as earlier in the week.

This was Andrew Stevens first ever salmon on his second fishing trip to the river. Andrews salmon weighed 7 pounds and he carefully returned it back to the river. Well done.

Phil Gibson with a superb 22 pounds springer from earlier in the week caught on Benchil with Upper Scone.

This was one of 2 spring salmon Jason Stratton caught today at Stanley. This was a 16 pounds fish from Pitlochrie pool caught on a Toby.
