Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Spate October 2012.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Spate October 2012.

The weather really turned for the worse today in Tayside with torrential rain all night and most of the morning which has resulted in a large spate on the river Tay in Perthshire, Scotland. Currently the river is still rising and is over 13 feet or 4.5 metres. This maybe what the river has been looking for to give a good ending to the Salmon fishing season. Time will tell.
The SEPA Ballthie site with the river still rising rapidly.

These are some of the scenes of the river at Stanley.
