Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Spring Salmon on the Catholes, Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland April 2011.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Spring Salmon on the Catholes, Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland April 2011.

It was a special day for John Cook at the Catholes, Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland today.
After loosing a salmon 5 minutes prior to this he hooks another spring salmon spinning a Toby Salmo from the bank in the Erics pool at the tail of the Catholes.

The spring salmon is safely netted.

A lovely sea liced 7 pounds spring salmon.

Moments later John hooks another salmon in the same pool. This time a 13 pounds spring salmon is successfully landed. Both salmon were released and John went on to loose another good salmon in the afternoon. What a day for John, well done.
