Salmon Fishing Scotland Salmon Netting on the Tay at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.

These are some old prints which appeared on ebay recently showing salmon netting on the river Tay at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland. Netting at Stanley was operated by Tay Salmon Fisheries at the Linn at Burnmouth and ceased to operate in the seventies. There are no commercial nets on the river Tay now.
