It was another good day on the Catholes, Tay, Perthshire today for one lucky and skilful fisherman!
Paul Devlin from Glasgow Angling Centre hooks and plays a lively springer in the Back Dam from the anchored boat.

It was a monumental fight lasting at least half an hour to get the fish ready to net in heavy water as the Tay was running at just over 7' on the Ballathie gauge.

The prize! a superb spring salmon weighing 16 pounds caught on a TTT tube, well done Paul.
