Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Salmon Fly Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire 2015.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Salmon Fly Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire 2015.

The Tay catchment in Perthshire has had heavy rain and a large snow melt causing the river levels to swell in the last few days.
There is a party of Swedish fly fishers at Stanley this week enjoying what the mighty Tay has to offer. Conditions have not been ideal so far but they have been prepared to work at it.
This is the party leader Christen Lindstom with a fresh 9 pounds spring salmon caught in the Back Dam of the Catholes beat on a Temple Dog.
More success with the fly, this time in Pitlochrie pool for Peter with a sea liced 12 pounds springer again caught on a Temple Dog fly.
The sun sets on Pitlochrie pool at Stanley.
