The Tay in Perthshire settled back further today giving good conditions for spring fishing despite it being bitterly cold with heavy snow showers at times.

The Upper Scone and Taymount beats were showing the way.

This was a very proud Lo Lai Hat "BERTHA" with a lovely fresh run 14 pounds springer caught on the Benchil beat from the boat in Ship Linn on the Upper Scone fishings. A further fish was caught in the afternoon for good measure on the same beat.

Taymount also had a good day landing 3 fish in the famous Linn pool. This was Robert Fidegen with a 15.5 pounds beauty caught on a Toby Salmo.
