Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring on the Tay 2010.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring on the Tay 2010.

The one that got away.

Robin Whiteford playing a spring salmon in the boat on the Pitlochrie beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland. The salmon took a Kynoch harling and after a lengthy fight it fell off near the net. The river was rising today from snow melt which may have meant the salmon were unsettled and did not take so well. We could see the sea lice on the fish but alas it was not to be. Maybe tomorrow!
