Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Spring Salmon on the Lower Tay, Perthshire, Scotland March 2010.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Spring Salmon on the Lower Tay, Perthshire, Scotland March 2010.

This was some of the Tay action today. The first fish is a fantastic 16.5 pounds sea liced salmon caught in front of Stanley Mills on the Pitlochrie beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.

Charlotte Gifford plays a good spring Salmon from the boat on a Blue and Silver 13cm floating Rapala.

The springer is safely netted. What a springer! This why we brave the cold in March on the Tay.

Charlotte quickly holds the pristine 16.5 pounds spring salmon before it was carefully released.

James Craig with a 14 pound Spring Salmon from the Bridge Stream on the Ballathie beat today caught on a Toby.
