Salmon Fishing Scotland Large Spring Salmon on the Fly on the Cascapedia river in Canada.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Large Spring Salmon on the Fly on the Cascapedia river in Canada.

Recently colleagues of mine visited the Cascapedia river in Quebec, Canada to fly fish for Atlantic salmon.

One of our ghillies At Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland Cohn O'Dea hooks a good salmon fly fishing from the bank on a good old scottish salmon fly.

The guide and Cohn realise it is a good fish.

The guide waits with the net.

The salmon is in the net and it is quickly unhooked.

What a picture. The prize salmon weighed a fantastic 38 pounds.

The prize salmon is released back to the river for the future. well done Cohn, what a fish and on the fly.
