Salmon Fishing Scotland March 2008 Spring Fishing on the Tay.
Another good days Salmon fishing, Springers Caught on the Catholes at Stanley.
Fly fishing in the Back dam pool of the Catholes beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland Gordon Hyslop hooks a fresh spring salmon on a Tube fly.
The fish plays hard as we get to the bank.
Finally the fresh spring salmon is safely netted. It weighed 16.5 pounds as we have scales on the net causing no stress to the fish.
Keeping the fish in the water it is carefully unhooked and returned to the river unharmed. Well done Gordon.
