These were some of the spring catches on the river Tay, Perthshire, Scotland today despite some inhospitable weather.

This was a superb spring salmon from the Taymount beat just above Stanley. Mike Mugglestone caught this cracking 20 pounds beauty from the boat in the Aldrens stream.

This was a lovely 14 pounds spring salmon from the Upper Redgorton beat caught by Scottish Ghillie John Tait harling in the boat.
