Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Autumn Salmon Fly Fishing.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Autumn Salmon Fly Fishing.

After a 9 foot spate the river was dropping down nicely today (09/09/2009) and clearing.

Brian O'Donohoe hooks a salmon fly fishing from the bank on the Aitken head pool of the lower Tay beat just below Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland. Brian was trying out a Scagit line with a very fast tip and one of my orange firelighter pot belly pig flies when suddenly the line tightened.

Brian gets some expert advice from colleague Bob Lawlor.

The fresh 10 pounds sea liced salmon was successfully landed. Brian then released the salmon back to the river.
