Salmon Fishing Scotland Large Autumn Salmon on the Stanley Beats on the Tay, Perthshire.

The Stanley beats on Pitlochrie, Benchil and Luncarty have been witnessing some large late salmon over the last few days. 

Becci Roberts hooks a good fish in Aitken Head on the Benchil Beat just below Stanley.

After a monumental struggle Becci landed a 20 pounds salmon.

Well done Becci as she has not been fishing for a few years but these ladies just can't stop catching. 

She was at it again today on the Horsey Pool of the Pitlochrie beat with a grilse. 

Meanwhile at Luncarty Andrew Crisp hooks a big salmon.

Andrew has never caught an Atlantic salmon but wow he didn't know what was on the end of the line!

An absolute monster and not that old a fish. It weighed 32 pounds and is one of the biggest fish off the mighty Tay this season. It does not get any better than this and your first ever salmon. 

Simply unbelievable! Well done Andrew.
