Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Fly Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire April 2015.

Currently the conditions for spring salmon fishing on the Tay, Perthshire are excellent with a dropping water and spring sunshine. The catches this week so far have not been bad either with yet more top quality salmon caught throughout the river.

There has been superb conditions for fly fishing on the river and this was Dan Lennon playing his second fish of the day on the fly in the Wash House hooked from an anchored boat.
Dan Lennon with a lovely 8 pounds spring caught on the fly. Earlier he caught a 15 pounds fish from Pitlochrie pool also on the fly from the bank. All the fish were safely released back to the river.
