Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fishing at Stanley Perthshire Scotland October 2008.
It was a pretty horrible day on the river to-day (07/10/2008) with constant rain and eventually rising water levels. To-morrow could be a wash out. It certainly was a day to test the waterproofs.
Despite the conditions Graham Nicol caught this lovely fresh grilse fly fishing from the bank in the long shot on the Benchil beat of the lower Tay below Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.
Andrew Gifford plays a grilse in the Todd holes on a devon.
The fresh grilse was successfully landed.
Typical Tay Autumn fresh Salmon.
