Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Fly Fishing on Tay, September 2015.
The Tay in Perthshire is currently getting some superb autumn weather with blue skies and no wind making ideal fly fishing conditions. Catches have improved this week but lower water levels seem to be deterring fish from running the river in numbers.
Peter Thomas hooks a good fish on the fly in the Long Shot on Benchil below Stanley.
Blue skies and playing an autumn salmon on the fly.
Success, a 10 pounds fish is landed, pictured prior to release. Well done Peter.
