Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fishing on the Tay October 2013.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fishing on the Tay October 2013.

It has all ready been a successful week on the river for some beats with around 250 salmon registered despite trying conditions. We have suffered from very high winds especially today making fishing even more difficult with all the leaves going down the river. The winds are about to ease and temperatures are going to drop which should benefit everyone. The river still needs a big spate to entice more fresh salmon to run as it is debatable whether there has been an autumn run as yet. Time will tell.
