Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland October 2013.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland October 2013.

At last the river Tay, Perthshire, Scotland had a spate all be it only 4 feet, but it was a start. There was great deal of anticipation on the river today with at last some more fresh water however there was dirty water and a lot of weed drifting down the river making life not that easy. Good catches were achieved but hopefully tomorrow will be better.

The Autumnal scene at Benchil with some afternoon sunshine.

David Brown with a sea liced 4 pounds grilse from Aitken Head on Benchil.

Henry Downs with his first ever salmon from Aitken Head caught on a flying c. Well done Henry.

Mike Beham with a 13 pounds autumn salmon caught in the Long Shot at Benchil on a devon.

The sun goes down on another autumn day on the river.
