Salmon Fishing Scotland Early Autumn Salmon Fly Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland September 2013.
September has now arrived on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland with still summer like weather and very low water however catches are still being made. This was the case on the lower Tay beat of Benchil just below Stanley today which suit low water conditions.
John Simister started the ball rolling by hooking a salmon on the fly from the boat in the Long Shot.
A lovely fresh 8 pounds salmon was successfully landed and pictured prior to release.
Moments later Charles Savage was playing a lively fish in Lundie on the fly.
A good 10 pounds hen salmon prior to release. Well done Charles.
