There has been very inclement weather in Tayside over the last couple of days with extreme weather. The lower river has been dirty from melting snow which has curtailed catches however the middle river, being higher up the system has been running clear.
Calum McRoberts had a day to remember on Newtyle, Dunkeld yesterday landing 3 spring salmon and loosing a fourth.
Calum's salmon weighed 8, 9 and an impressive 18 pounds which is pretty going for a day. Well done.
