Salmon Fishing Scotland Quality Spring fishing on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland March 2013.

The Tay salmon fishing week in Perthshire, Scotland has finished well with some larger spring salmon being landed and fly fishing.

This was a superb 17 pounds spring beauty landed by Ewan Clark fly fishing in the Horsey pool on the Pitlochrie beat at Stanley on a Monkey fly.

Further downstream the Upper Scone fishermen were landing a spring salmon on the fly in the Long Shot at Benchil.

Dr Andy Bywater was the successful angler catching this superb 16 pounds cracker.

Even further downstream on Upper Redgorton Greggor Nimmo landed this amazing 19 pounds cracker on the fly. This was a picture of the release. These are such special fish for our system and it is great they are all being release to help secure the future for generations to come.
