Salmon Fishing Scotland Salmon Fly Fishing on the Tay 2010.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Salmon Fly Fishing on the Tay 2010.

I had a bit of a purple patch today in the Kirkie Stream at Stanley. We were not booked so I had a chance to fish myself. I had all ready landed a grilse on the Dyke on a flying c but just before lunch i caught and released 3 grilse one after another fly fishing from the bank.

The Kirkie stream on the Pitlochrie beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.

The first grilse is landed.

A grilse recovers after being unhooked.

The grilse swims freely away back to the river.

A second grilse is landed fly fishing in Kirkie.

Number three is safely landed on the fly.

The grilse is released back to the river.
