Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fly Fishing at Stanley Perthshire Scotland 2008.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fly Fishing at Stanley Perthshire Scotland 2008.

Mark Emms hooks a good salmon fly fishing in the woodside on the Pitlochrie beat of the Tay at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland. Unfortunately this one was not landed.

Mark caught this large salmon earlier in the morning opposite Stanley Mills fly fishing from the bank.

Is this the Anglers arriving at Benchil this morning. (25/09/2008)

The pink balloon delivering the anglers is not the only "balloon" contributing to this blog.
Previous comment: I think should read "should have gone back".

Sorry guys it was a cock fish. That is 11 out of 18 returned this week. All hens have been returned and a few sea liced cocks. Do not hide behind the anonymous comments. Put your names against them.

If you do not wish it to be used, why have an anonymous facility?
I would have thought any comment should be welcome -- shows the readership after all.

When I enlarged the photograph of the Mark Emms fish it seemed to have some rather sinister looking damage just behind the belly around the set of fins in that region. Can you shed any light on this?
