Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Fishing 2008.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Fishing 2008.
Springers from the Catholes.

To-day (13th March)we only had one rod fishing so we were able to get a cast in ourselves. I (Bob White)was lucky again and caught a lovely fresh 11lbs spring salmon from the Back Dam pool of the Catholes beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.

This is the fish being carefully unhooked in the net.

A quick picture.

Then carefully released back to the river.
Thank you to my friend for helping me land the fish and taking the pictures.
We had another 15lbs salmon on the beat to-day as well and there were 2 good spring salmon caught on the Pitlochrie beat below us.

Good stuff. 4 fish in 2 days. Just shows what some decent water and conditions can bring. James
