Salmon Fishing Scotland March 2008 Spring Fishing on the Tay.
Springer landed at Pitlochrie Pool at Stanley.

This was Pitlochrie pool at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland to-day (12th March 2008).
The pool was at a perfect height for bank fishing. The spate from yesterday had calmed down, the water was clear and dropping. We did not have any bookings so we were out fishing ourselves.

Geordie Stewart hooks a springer at the tail of the pool on a devon spun from the bank.

The fresh 9lbs salmon is landed and safely returned to the river.
