This past week has at last seen an upturn in weather conditions and water levels for spring salmon fishing on the Tay, Perthshire and catches have improved dramatically with some top quality spring salmon being landed. This was especially in the Stanley area of the lower Tay which produces good spring sport early in the season in cold water conditions.
