It is always a challenge when you have a guest who has not caught a salmon. That was the case today and everyone now says a salmon is a bonus! Well when it comes off everyone gets a thrill.

Tom Lewis hooks and plays a good salmon nervously spinning from an anchored boat in the Long Shot at Benchil.

The result, a superb fresh run grilse about 6 pounds safely landed, photographed prior to release. A delighted Tom Lewis and Daniela Forbes. Well done and haste ye back.
