The salmon season has now entered May on the Tay system in Perthshire, Scotland and there is still top quality spring salmon being caught.

A superb 18 pounds spring beauty caught by Jim Fisher fly fishing at Pitlochry Dam on the Pitlochry Angling Club stretch.


A fresh 9 pounds salmon caught fly fishing on the Catholes at Stanley by Roddie Styles from Dumfries in the Black Stones.


Curtis Brunker with an 18 pounds cracker from the Pitlochry Angling Club beat at the Dam.


Stanley Ghillie, Bob White with an 11 pounds spring salmon caught fly fishing from the town bank of the Angling club stretch at Pitlochry.
