Salmon Fishing Scotland March Spring fishing on the Lower Tay 2013.

Salmon Fishing Scotland March Spring fishing on the Lower Tay 2013.

It was another very cold day on the river Tay in Perthshire, Scotland with extreme temperatures. It was not for the faint hearted but those who braved the elements there was silver rewards in the river!

This was the scene on horsey on the Pitlochrie beat at Stanley in a moment when the sun shone.

Neil Williams plays a spring salmon from the boat in front of Stanley Mills.

A superb long tailed sea liced 13 pounds spring salmon on the harled fly. Well done Neil, a great reward on a very cold day.
