Salmon Fishing Scotland Large Salmon on the Tay September 2012.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Large Salmon on the Tay September 2012.

Conditions on the river have been good this week and expectation is very high. There might even be a really big fish caught.
James Moss hooks into a salmon on the Upper Scone beat at Benchil just below Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland on the Lower Tay.

Ghillie Dave Barwick nets the fish after a good tussle.

A superb fish is carefully unhooked.

The salmon was an absolute beauty and it weighed an amazing 24 pounds.

James carefully releases the salmon back to the river. Fantastic and well done James!
