Salmon Fishing Scotland Large Summer Salmon on the Tay 2012.
July has got off to an excellent start on the Tay in Perthshire, Scotland despite all the rain and unsettled conditions. There have been some good quality salmon and a continuation of Multi-sea winter fish caught which is superb news for the river.
This was Robert Russell with a cracking 28 pounds salmon caught on the Upper Scone Benchil beat on the Lower Tay just below Stanley today.
Robert a member of Perth and District Angling Club caught his magnificent salmon in the Plain Water on a Flying C and the fish was carefully released back to the river. Well done Robert.
