Salmon Fishing Scotland January 2012 Flood on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland.
This is the mighty river Tay in full flood today at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.
The river went up to over 4 metres at its height which is in the region of 13 or 14 feet above summer level.
The river never seems to settle for more than a couple of days before there is another spate.
The country continues to take a battering with yet more severe weather. Wind and rain, the next thing will be the snow!
