What a difference a year makes in the weather on Tayside.

This was a 4.5 metre flood on the Tay at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland today 1st December 2011. Tayside has certainly had an abundance of rainfall since the summertime but this has been the biggest flood.

Exactly a year ago in the last week of November and early December 2010 we were knee deep in snow.
