Salmon Fishing Scotland Fly Fishing on the Tummel June 2011.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Fly Fishing on the Tummel June 2011.

There was another memorable day on the Pitlochry Angling club Portnacraig beat on the Tummel today. 5 salmon were landed fly fishing by Perth anglers Steven Watt and Alum Williams.
Steven Watt with a fresh 7 pounds salmon from the Portnacraig beat below the footbridge.

Alum Williams with his third fish of the day from the Green bank.

Steven Watt with another salmon below the footbridge caught on a cascade.

Alum about to net a salmon for Steven. It was a tremendous days fishing and all the salmon were carefully returned back to the river.

Well done to you Steve & Alum on having a great days fishing, thought with it being a sunny day there would have not been much caught on Friday but you learn something new maybe the fish had sun factor 5 on that day .
What was the winning pattern that day & many thanks Ray.

Try Cascade, Hutchy Shrimp or a small Willie Gunn tube fishing on Floating or Hover lines!
