Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Spring Salmon on the Tay February 2010.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Spring Salmon on the Tay February 2010.

These were some of the images from yesterday on the lower Tay on the Catholes beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland. It ended up a truly memorable day with 3 spring salmon being landed. Alex Graham in particular had a good day landing 2 springers from the boat first thing in the morning in the Black Stones. All the salmon were returned to the river.

Alex Graham plays a spring salmon from the boat in the Black Stones on the Catholes beat at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.

Absolute delight for Alex Graham as he successfully lands a cracking 11 pounds spring salmon with the aid of Scottish Ghillie Cohn O'Dea.

Alex about to release his second spring salmon of the day back to the river.
