Salmon Fishing Scotland Summer Salmon on the Tay, Perthshire June 2015.
We are currently getting some superb summer weather on the Tay, Perthshire for salmon fishing and the catches are matching the weather with some 80 salmon landed so far this week. Conditions are good with a dropping water and there appears to be a good run in the river.
The sun rises on another warm day on the river.
All the trees are now in full leaf with a sea of fresh green. What glorious place to spend a day salmon fishing.
A cracking 21 pounds fish caught at Dunkeld House.
Malcolm Anderson with a good fish from Upper Islamouth and Meikleour.
Dalmarnock on a lovely summer day.
This is first ever fish for Brian Shiels caught at Dalmarnock.
Let us hope this outstanding period continues right through the summer and into the autumn.
