Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring on the Tay, Perthshire 2015.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring on the Tay, Perthshire 2015.

The spring salmon fishing on the Tay, Perthshire has been hard going with fluctuating water heights on a daily basis this week so far. Salmon do not react favorably to river levels going up and down every day but hopefully the weather will settle down soon.
Spring is arriving fast in Perthshire.
Spring salmon are being caught despite the unsettled weather and river levels. This was Chris Porter with a 14 pounds beauty caught in the Pitlochrie pool at Stanley on the Upper Scone day.
Swedish angler Christen Lindstrom caught this 10 pounds springer on the Catholes in the Back Dam on the fly.
Further upstream Calum McRoberts successfully landed this fresh beauty on Upper Islamouth and Meikleour.
Sun set on Pitlochrie pool at Stanley.
