It has been an better week on the Tay in Perthshire, Scotland with improving catches but it is not a consistent catch on all beats which has been frustrating.

A superb estimated 15 pounds summer salmon caught fly fishing on the Catholes by Ghillie John Bennett.
John caught this fish stripping a Sun Ray Shadow in the Catholes Stream and had earlier caught a further 2 grilse from the same stream. all the fish carried sea lice.
